AHR Expo

Tomorrow I will be heading to Las Vegas, NV for the AHR Expo.  This show has all of the latest in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning) industry.  There are many opportunities that we can help people with connected to this industry.  We have many manufacturers overseas that are capable of making and producing fittings, machined parts, forgings and castings connected with this industry.

You can learn more about this show at www.ahrexpo.com and I will be posting photos from the show later this week.  If you are at the show or attending the show, let me know and if you would like us to quote you on future opportunities, we would love to show you what we can do.  Again, UGS is the manufacturers importer.

Two Shows In One Week

Sorry it has been some time since my last post.  I was in Las Vegas, NV last week to attend 2 shows.  The first was the World of Concrete Show and featured everything you can think of for concrete work and constuction work.  The Las Vegas Convention Hall was completely full of displays and exhibitors and a very good turn out that is telling me that the constuction market maybe on the upswing.  You can check more out at their website which is www.worldofconcrete.com to see more about this show.

The other show that I was able to attend was the Shot Show which featured everything you can think of in regards to firearms and tactical forces.  I didn’t realize there were so many different manufacturers of pistols and automatic weapons.  Also, everything you could ever need for hunting all the way from the weapons to the meat processing.  Again this show too was huge and completely filled the Sands Exposition Center.  You can check more out about this show at www.shotshow.org and learn more about it.

The Reason we attend these shows is for two reasons, first, many of our customers show at these shows and we like to attend to see how we might be able to help our customers better with their new products and see if they have anything else that we might be able to help them with.  Second, we like to see what else is at these shows, sometimes there are other products or parts that we see at these shows and we know we can help the potential customers to lower their costs and provide them with worry free sourcing.  How can we help you?

AG Connect 2011

I was at the AG Connect Show this past weekend and was able to walk the complete show Saturday and did a little review on Sunday.  I thought the show was very well attended and multiple exhibits in the agricultural industry ranging from John Deere, IH/Case to a small inventory from Germany who I believe had one of the hottest products at the show (more on that later).

Obviously IH Case had one of the largest tractors that I have ever seen complete w/all wheel drive and tracks instead of tires, more than enought power to do even the largest field work.  Anything to do with farming and agriculture was there and one thing I will say, is we need farmers to keep this world from starving.  My hats off to the farming industry and especially our custome Monosem for their state of the art planters.

As I mentioned above, one of the coolest products at the show was from Germany.  It is a multiple tool farming implement that is a walk behind tractor with multiple attachments that you can use to mow, blow snow, wrake hay, plough snow and sweep.  You can check it out your self at www.brielmaier.com and make sure you click the english icon unless of course you can speak German!  These are just some of the items that I saw at the AG Connect Show but again these are also some of the items that we can quote and manufacture too.  We would love an opportunity to help you!  Why don’t you send us something to quote on?

2011 AG Connect Expo

I will be leaving for AG Connect Expo tomorrow.  This is the worlds largest agricultural show.  This will be held at the World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.  This is my second show and I am looking forward to walking it and seeing what new products and technologies there are in the farming industry and seeing if there is a way that UGS can help.

We already have a very well established customer in the AG industry – Monosem and we are supplying them with components for their planters.  I am confident that there are other opportunities out there in this industry for us.  If you are planning on attending or exhibiting at this show, let me know and I will look you up.  The link for this show is www.agconnect.com and you can learn more about it.  I will post pictures this weekend from the show.
