In addition, United Global Sourcing provides product liability Insurance on all items sold. A certificate of insurance can be provided upon request.
Payment terms are determined prior to placing your order and are subject to credit approval. We offer a variety of payment options to meet the needs of every customer. Arrangements include, but are not limited to, the following options:
When tooling is required, there is a 50% deposit due with order. The balance is due upon final sample approval prior to production.
UGS provides product liability Insurance on all items sold. A certificate of insurance can be provided upon request.
1. Customer determines how UGS can complement their business. This includes discussing the type of product, estimated quantities, required lead-times and special manufacturing requirements.
2. If available, customer will supply blueprints (AutoCAD DXF Files, DWG Files, IGES Files or hardcopy prints) along with 3–5 samples of the product they wish to have quoted. Details such as packaging, material specification and quality control requirements are also collected at this stage.
3. UGS will review your product with our network of pre-qualified factories.
4. UGS will obtain information from each manufacturer including samples (if available), quotes, packaging specifications, lead-times and tooling costs.
5. A detailed quote will be submitted to you. This quote will include all lead-times, packaging, tooling information and pricing delivered to your facility.
6. Upon acceptance of our quote, customer issues a purchase order for the tooling (if applicable) along with the production order. Your order is contingent upon sample approval.
The quote process takes an average of 7-14 days but could take longer depending on the complexity of your product. This will be confirmed by your UGS sales associate.
Our involvement in production of your product encompasses the design process, tooling, sample submission, quality control inspections, final production and delivery to your facility.
Using a sample, blueprint or concept you provide, UGS will assist in determining the materials and production specifications your product requires.

There are no surprises or hidden costs. UGS handles all foreign currency transactions and letters of credit with offshore financial institutions. Our financial strength enables us to guarantee payment to suppliers on your behalf.
Completed goods typically arrive via ocean freight 90-120 days (depending on the complexity of your project) after submission of a purchase order. This will be confirmed upon receipt of your hard copy quote from UGS. Air freight may be used to reduce transit times at an additional charge.
